Ortho Mattress Versus Traditional Mattress

Ortho mattress. You may find yourself wondering what is so special about an ortho mattress and what benefits it can bring to you.

The main difference in an ortho mattress as opposed to your traditional mattress is the quality of sleep that you will get from it.

Your traditional mattress is just not capable of providing the same quality of sleep.

One of the main problems with a traditional mattress that the ortho mattress does not have is the fact that when you apply pressure to the mattress by laying on it the springs of the mattress fight back against your body with a pressure that is equal to what you are apply.

That is why many times when you sleep on a traditional mattress you will find that you wake up stiff or achy. This is not just because you slept wrong.

It is because you are not sleeping on the right kind of mattress.

You have pressure being applied to your body constantly on a traditional mattress.

If you do not have these springs you will find that many ortho mattresses are made with memory foam.

This forms to your body and allows your body to be supported while at the same time not pressing back against you.

Sleep on an ortho mattress

You will find that your sleep is much better on an ortho mattress.

This is because of the facts mentioned above about not having the pressure of the springs.

Another reason you will sleep better is because you will not toss and turn as much. When you don't toss and turn as much you stay in a deeper sleep for a longer period of time.

When this happens you awake feeling rejuvenated and ready for the day. This is a feeling that you most likely don't have if you are sleeping on a spring mattress.

Also with an ortho mattress you will find that if you have back pain simply changing to an ortho mattress is likely to help in eliminating some if not all of your back pain.

You should also be aware that the life expectancy of an ortho mattress is very long.

Many traditional mattresses typically have between a five year and a ten year life expectancy.

The expectancy of a mattressis much longer than that but it vary depending on the type of mattress that you choose.

Obviously a higher quality orthopaedic mattress will last longer than one that is of lesser quality.

So next time you are thinking about getting a mattress you should seriously consider putting the old traditional mattress to the side and looking for a more comfortable and better sleeping mattress.
